Control Panel

Here at Server Complete we pride ourselves on providing fast and reliable support on top of an industry leading network and enterprise hardware. Our company is built upon the concept of implementing as much customer side automation within our custom control panel as possible. Whether you need to update your Reverse DNS or perform an Operating System reload, we supply the tool, Server Command, to complete most common tasks yourself, on demand.

Network Visibility

Server Complete believes in full transparency of our network infrastructure. The NOC section of the Server Command control panel provides a birds eye view into our Network Operations Center and the statistics that we track and monitor.

The data available includes latency graphs, aggregate transfer graphs, total network capacities, peering arrangements, and detailed hardware specifications.

Operating System Reloads

One of the most commonly utilized features within the Server Command control panel is the fully automated Operating System reloads.

OS Reloads are available within the Server Manager of the control panel and provide a vast number of predefined Operating System options.

Our environment utilizes a highly advanced Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) to facilitate Operating System installations.

Available Operating Systems include CentOS 6, CentOS 5, Scientific Linux 6, Fedora 18, Citrix XenServer 6.2, Debian Wheezy, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Ubuntu 12.10, and FreeBSD 9. In addition to these, we provide options for common partitioning profiles with support most images. If a custom installation is required, it may be requested through the control panel.

Live Rescue System

We have built a Linux Live Rescue environment based upon SystemRescueCD to allow for more granular management of your server. With the Live Rescue System tasks such as root password resets and file system checks (FSCK) are made easy and are available at any time.

Our Live Rescue System eliminates the need for an IP KVM. We still have IP KVMs available by request if needed.

Just by changing the boot preference on your Server Complete server, you will automatically given the IP address and login details to access the rescue system. A reboot is all that is necessary to activate it.

Reverse DNS Management

Simple tasks like customer control of Reverse DNS management are often overlooked at other providers. Instead of needing to open a ticket with our Network Engineering staff to make a simple change, you can control your Reverse DNS at any time from within Server Command. Your changes are automatically propagated out to our geographically distributed DNS servers, and changes are reflected to the world within a matter of minutes.
